What you’ll do:
Sr Applications Developer employee request specializing in high-volume, high-performance legal document generation, AI-driven development, automated testing, telecom domain knowledge, and estimate expertise.

What you’ll need:

  • Represent the EDP application and collaborate closely with product owners, product managers, enterprise architects, marketing clients, and other stakeholders to analyze business needs and deliver high-quality technical solutions.

  • Design, develop, and implement high-performing code solutions that address complex business requirements and align with AT&T’s strategic objectives.

  • Lead the development and maintenance of business rules that determine customer eligibility for AT&T offers, with a strong focus on accurately modeling and estimating bill impacts resulting from account changes, service modifications, and new offers.

  • Develop and enhance bill estimation functionalities to provide customers and internal teams with clear, reliable projections of billing outcomes based on proposed changes, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.

  • Serve as a mentor to new developers, reviewing code, sharing best practices, and ensuring high standards for code quality and performance prior to production deployments.

  • Apply advanced AI development methodologies, maintaining an Augment, Understand, elevate mindset to continuously improve application intelligence and user experience.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning by exploring new technologies and approaches to optimize both business and technical outcomes.

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology, with a proven track record in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level solutions.

  • Proficiency in developing and integrating web services, including both SOAP and RESTful APIs.

  • Strong programming skills in Java, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Hands-on experience with messaging and event streaming platforms such as Angular, Kafka, and MQ.

  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools, including Kubernetes and Docker.

  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

  • Experience with content management and document storage solutions, particularly CMOD.

  • Solid background in working with Oracle databases and version control systems like Git.

  • Thorough understanding and practical experience with Agile development processes and methodologies.

  • Demonstrated experience in legal document generation and storage, telecom fee structures, billing estimation, and billing processing.

  • Proficient in implementing and utilizing automated testing platforms to ensure code quality and reliability.

  • Deep experience with quality and security scanning tools, including Sonar, Veracode, software composition analysis (SCA) scans, and dynamic security testing.

  • Full understanding of AI-driven security solutions such as Veracode Fix, and the ability to leverage these tools to proactively identify and resolve vulnerabilities.

  • Everyday use of AI-powered development tools (such as GitHub Copilot within IDEs) as an integral part of the software development lifecycle, with a mindset that prioritizes AI solutions at every stage—from code generation to testing and security.

  • Proven ability to leverage AI to augment user experience, automate complex business processes, and generate actionable business insights.

  • Understanding of responsible AI practices, including data privacy, model interpretability, and bias mitigation.

  • Commitment to continuous learning in AI/ML technologies to ensure solutions remain innovative and competitive.

Our Senior System Engineering, earns between $128,400-$192,600 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
