Overall Purpose: Define and drive the technical product vision, roadmap, and execution by collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with market demands, and delivering customer-centric software solutions that meet business objectives.Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:• Technical Product Vision and Strategy: Develop product vision and strategy by understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.• Roadmap Planning and Stakeholder Collaboration: Define and prioritize the product roadmap through collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business, architecture, UX, and other product managers.• Product Development and Requirements Management: Guide product development by detailing software product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and support trade-off discussions and negotiations.• Customer-Centric Product Management: Ensure product viability and alignment with business goals by monitoring performance, serving as the voice of the customer, and ensuring a high-quality user experience.• Sprint Planning and Subject Matter Expertise: Participate in sprint planning, support feature refinement, and act as a subject matter expert within the organization for assigned products or product lines.Job Contribution: An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership. Experience managing complex or high-priority technical products and may have more influence on strategic decisions related to the product. Writes user stories and sets the product direction at the team level; OR writes features and sets the direction for a group of teams; OR writes epics and sets the direction for multiple groups of teams.Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
Our Lead Tech Product Mgr earns between $143,800 - $215,800 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
