In AT&T Brno we are looking for Junior Billing Operations Associates to join our new team who will conduct billing operational work to maximize the effectiveness, accuracy and delivery of billing information.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform non-routine audits of billing information entered in the system and monitors the operation of the billing systems.
Develops solutions to billing issues and works with systems design to implement new features.
Cooperate with internal teams on accuracy of billing information.
May test new features of the billing system.
May perform one or more of the following billing operations functions such as general billing operations, policy compliance, systems, methods, procedures, contract implementation, bill reviews, postal analysis, vendor management, etc.
Hiring Requirements:
Must-Have Requirements
Excel at advanced level: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience; advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, data validation, dashboards/reporting.
Data analysis experience: Ability to gather, clean, analyze, and present data; comfortable working with large datasets and producing actionable insights.
English proficiency: Fluent written and spoken English.
Work style/traits: Strong attention to detail, self-driven, responsible, able to manage deadlines and repetitive/precision-based tasks.
Nice-to-Have (Preferred) Requirements
AI/Automation exposure: Experience automating reporting or workflows (e.g., Excel macros/VBA, Power Automate, Python, SQL, or use of AI tools for automation) is a plus.
Billing/Finance background: Prior experience in billing operations, finance, accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliation, or related areas is a plus.
Relevant role experience: Experience in a similar billing operations or analyst role is a strong advantage.
Role Level / Training Note
Entry-level in Billing Operations: Candidates may be entry-level in billing operations, but should meet the core Excel + analysis requirements.
Training: Company onboarding/training will cover billing-process and domain knowledge needed for the role.
Selection Process (Assessments)
Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete practical skills assessments as part of the hiring process, which may include:
An advanced Excel practical exam (e.g., formulas, PivotTables, data validation, Power Query, reporting/dashboard tasks)
A data analysis exercise (e.g., cleaning a dataset, identifying issues, summarizing findings, producing a short report)
If applicable, an automation/AI practical task (e.g., proposing or demonstrating an automation approach, or explaining a previous automation solution)
Location: Brno, 5 days in office per week
Shift: US working hours (starting at 2PM, 4PM or 6PM), including weekends. Shifts vary according to business need.
Compensation:
Our Junior Billing Operations Associate earns between 45,300 - 68,000 CZK gross / month. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range will depend on experience, expertise, and education/training.
