Job Overview

As a Technical Product Owner, you will lead the development and ongoing management of our next-generation AI enablement platform. This role is responsible for driving product vision, strategy, and execution in partnership with engineering, data and business teams.

We are looking for a candidate with product ownership experience, strong technical acumen in AI and/or data analytics, and a passion for data governance and security. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our AI-driven solutions, ensuring that they deliver value, comply with data privacy standards, and align with AT&T’s commitment to innovation.

Core Responsibilities

  • Balance customer requirements with technical proposals from developer teams and platform capabilities.

  • Actively participate in feature proposal sessions, capturing user requirements and writing feature requirements for developer teams.

  • Routinely collaborate with UX, Architecture and engineering teams on multiple issues and decisions.

  • Develop product roadmap and feature definitions. Participate in planning and lifecycle management for all products and services.

  • Own and manage the feature backlog. Continuously prioritize features based on the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.

  • Engage frequently with the operations and development teams; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contribute to design activities and decisions.

  • Maintain and improve the technical health, scalability, and reliability of the products, applications, and services within the scope of work.

  • Monitor customer feedback, response, and metrics; develop plans to support growth and scale the business efficiently; drive continuous solution improvements.

  • Manage day-to-day execution of multiple interdependent projects by working directly with cross functional team and/or performing hands on technical tasks.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

Day-to-Day

  • Serve as primary contact for business and development teams regarding the Agentic AI platform.

  • Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups to ensure team alignment and momentum.

  • Translate business requirements into user stories and actionable technical tasks for the development team.

  • Proactively identify and resolve blockers or obstacles affecting product delivery.

  • Ensure User Acceptance Criteria and regulatory/data governance requirements are clear and met.

  • Track, analyze, and report on key product and operational metrics to measure success and inform iteration.

  • Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and continuous learning within the team.

  • Coordinate with business, data, and technology partners to ensure shared understanding of priorities and deliverables.

  • Document new features, changes, and technical decisions to ensure transparency and maintain knowledge base (mitigating risk of knowledge silos)

Technical Skills

  • 3+ years as a Technical Product Manager or 5+ years as a Technical Product Owner, ideally in AI, data analytics, or technology-driven environments.

  • 5+ years of hands-on technical experience (software development, data engineering, AI/ML, IT, or related).

  • Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale AI, SaaS, PaaS, or data platform products, responsible for full product lifecycle from concept to GTM.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through change, continuous improvement, and adoption of new practices and technologies.

  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and their application to cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Experience with data governance, privacy, and stewardship principles.

Additional Desirable Experience

  • Experience with building and managing AI enablement platforms, data analytics tooling, or automated data governance solutions.

  • Experience collaborating with Chief Data Office or similar organizations.

  • Experience with Salesforce, ServiceNow, enterprise SaaS, or cloud-native solutions.

  • Familiarity with ethical considerations and regulatory compliance in AI/ML and data analytics.

  • Contributions to industry best practices or professional communities in technology, AI, or data.

Education

Bachelor level degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business or related field of study.

Compensation:

Salary for Slovakia starting from 3 130EUR gross monthly.

Salary for Czech Republic starting from 91 400CZK gross monthly.

The actual offered salary may be considerably higher based on your skills, knowledge, and experience.

Location and Work Environment

These roles are based in Bratislava, Slovakia; Kosice, Slovakia; and Brno, Czechia. They are hybrid-flex positions requiring presence in the office 1-3 times per week, with occasional travel between these locations.
