Job Description:

This is a sales and customer facing position, no office requirement.

AT&T has an opening for a Principal Technical Consultant to collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support and consulting, ensuring successful product integration and implementation, while leveraging expertise to design optimized solutions and contribute to sales objectives through pre- and post-sales activities.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Technical Sales Support and Consulting: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during sales calls, presentations, and product demonstrations, ensuring accurate representation and support of company products.
  • Solution Design, Implementation, and Troubleshooting: Design innovative technology solutions, oversee their implementation and integration, analyze and resolve technical issues to ensure system functionality according to specifications.
  • Client Interaction and Custom Solutions: Understand and analyze client requirements, deliver tailored systems/applications solutions, answer customer inquiries, and build mini-applications to demonstrate feasibility.
  • Expertise and Continuous Improvement: Leverage in-depth knowledge of company products and industry expertise to optimize solutions, monitor performance, and stay updated with the latest trends and best practices.
  • Independent Work and Additional Support: Work independently with minimal supervision, provide pre-sales and post-sales support, train clients and internal teams, create detailed documentation, and collaborate with development teams to enhance product offerings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Expert in their field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results.
  • Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies.
  • Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions.
  • Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues.
  • Federal experience required
  • USA citizenship

Desired Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science. 15+ years experience in either sales or other customer facing positions. Certification is required in some areas.  Master’s degree is desirable.

  • Advance knowledge of data analytics, AI, Automation, Power BI, Snowflake as and large transformation projects in the Public Sector arena (SLED and Federal).

Our Principal Technical Consultant's earn between $174,100 - $261,100. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
