Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Cybersecurity Delivery Associate Director to lead our Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives. This role is ideal for a highly experienced leader of people who excels in program and project management and is passionate about mentoring and developing teams. The successful candidate will not only drive the execution of complex cybersecurity projects but also foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional growth within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a team of cybersecurity project managers and professionals.

  • Serve as a mentor and coach, helping team members grow their skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and cybersecurity delivery.

  • Cultivate a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and excellence.

Program & Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IAM projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

  • Implement and refine standardized project management methodologies and tools.

  • Monitor project performance, manage risks, and ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.

Strategic Alignment:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to define and prioritize cybersecurity initiatives.

  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable project plans and roadmaps.

  • Ensure IAM initiatives support broader organizational cybersecurity goals.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provide clear, concise, and timely updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

  • Foster strong relationships across departments to ensure alignment and support.

Program and Project Budget Management:

  • Develop, manage, and track budgets for cybersecurity programs and projects.

  • Ensure financial accountability and alignment with organizational priorities.

  • Provide regular budget forecasts and variance analyses to leadership.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive process improvements and innovation within the cybersecurity PMO.

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

  • Promote a learning environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional development.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring high-performing teams.

  • Deep expertise in program and project management, especially in cybersecurity contexts.

  • Strong understanding of IAM principles, frameworks, and technologies.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a plus.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 8–10+ years of experience in project/program management with a focus on cybersecurity.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a PMO or similar strategic role.

Certifications:

  • PMP, CISM, or equivalent certifications strongly preferred.

Our Assoc Director-Cybersecurity, earns between $155,400 - $233,200 USD Annual USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
