Job Description:

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

What you’ll do:

  • Provides high level skills in the identification and resolution of complex product/service problems.

  • Handles trouble escalations on a 24x7 (staffed 24x7) basis and proactively identifies and troubleshoots complex, potentially service impacting conditions which require a broad and/or deep level of technical knowledge of USP, IP, SIP, Unix / Linux servers and operating systems.

  • Serves as a developing subject matter expert for AT&T’s IMS (CloudBand, USP, VoLTE, FirstNet) networks, providing an elevated level of technical support for the services, servers and operating systems of these AT&T platforms.

  • Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical problems for supported services. It coordinates with Network Engineering, peer groups and AT&T Tier 3 ANTS on system modifications/changes and directs members of the teams it supports as well as the field staff on problem resolution efforts.

  • Manages complex technical projects and assists in deployment testing and process development for the services it supports.

  • Provides service assurance and validation for all scheduled maintenance activities or new service introduction on the servers and operating systems supported.

  • Provides input for developing technical procedures used when performing maintenance and/or service validation activities.

  • Identifies opportunities for developing systems and tools to automate manual work. In addition, the position trains and mentors’ junior members of the team as well as the members of the teams the position supports. 

What you’ll need:

As a Senior Network Technology Support, you will be responsible for network/service fault isolation, corrective action, and event management.  May also be involved in requirements, testing, planning and implementation of new software, hardware, and applications relative to new product delivery, systems architecture, process enhancements, infrastructure and security.

What you’ll bring:

  • Required Experience:

    • 3-5 years’ experience

    • Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role

  • Desired Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Computer Sciences or Operations preferred

  • Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience with IP and SIP

    • Working knowledge with VoLTE, IMS, EPC and VoIP

Environmental Requirements:

This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.

Our Senior Network Technology Support earns between $94,300 - $158,400 annually.  Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
