About the Role

We are seeking a highly technical and business-oriented AI Forward Deploy Engineer to bring artificial intelligence solutions into real-world business operations.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, consulting, and business transformation. You will partner closely with business leaders, operations teams, customers, and technical stakeholders to understand operational challenges, rapidly prototype solutions, integrate AI technologies, and deploy scalable capabilities into production environments.

Unlike roles focused primarily on building foundational AI models, the AI Forward Deploy Engineer ensures that AI solutions work effectively within the business. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions, address integration challenges, train users, and drive adoption across the organization.

Success in this role will be measured by business adoption, operational impact, and measurable improvements in business outcomes.

Role Responsibilities and Duties

• Partner with business leaders, operations teams, customers, and technical stakeholders to identify high-impact AI opportunities.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand operational workflows, business challenges, technical environments, and desired outcomes.
• Translate complex business requirements into practical AI solution designs.
• Rapidly build prototypes and proofs of concept to validate proposed use cases.
• Design solution architectures that connect AI platforms with existing business applications, systems, APIs, and data sources.
• Configure AI tools and platforms to support specific operational requirements.
• Build custom integrations that enable AI solutions to function within existing business environments.
• Deploy AI solutions into production and support their successful operational implementation.
• Identify and resolve technical, data, platform, and integration issues.
• Work across software engineering, cloud, AI platform, API, and data-integration technologies.
• Partner with cybersecurity and other operational leaders to understand specialized business processes and technical requirements.
• Train users and operational teams on newly deployed AI capabilities.
• Communicate solution value, technical considerations, implementation progress, and business outcomes to executive stakeholders.
• Support process transformation by helping teams incorporate AI into their daily workflows.
• Measure solution effectiveness and evaluate progress against defined business objectives.
• Drive user adoption and promote the sustained use of deployed AI solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in software engineering, solution engineering, or a similarly technical role.
• Hands-on experience deploying technical solutions into production environments.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, AI platforms, APIs, and data-integration methods.
• Experience designing or implementing integrations across applications, platforms, and data sources.
• Ability to rapidly build prototypes and translate concepts into functional technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of solution architecture and production deployment principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and integration issues.
• Experience gathering requirements and analyzing operational workflows.
• Strong stakeholder-management and consulting capabilities.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical technical designs and implementation plans.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex AI and technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Experience supporting user training, technology adoption, or business-process transformation.
• Ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, business, and customer-facing teams.

• Experience deploying artificial intelligence or machine learning solutions within large-scale business environments.
• Experience working with enterprise AI platforms and cloud-based AI services.
• Experience building API-based integrations and connecting AI platforms with enterprise systems.
• Experience working in a technical consulting, customer engineering, solutions architecture, or field engineering capacity.
• Experience supporting AI adoption and organizational transformation initiatives.
• Experience partnering with senior business leaders and executive stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity operations, security operations centers, incident-response workflows, or similar operational environments.
• Experience measuring the operational and business impact of deployed technology solutions.
• Experience moving AI solutions from prototype or proof of concept into production.
• Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on technical execution with customer engagement and business strategy.

Our Technology Lead job earns between $200,000 - $280,000 USD Annual base salary plus quarterly bonus plus annual bonus.
