Our FDP summer internship is designed to set you up to be considered for our full-time Finance Development Program upon graduation. How better to advance your career than building relationships with current and former participants who work in diverse roles across AT&T? That’s why you’ll complete a 10-to-12-week summer internship assignment in one of our areas of finance. You’ll have the opportunity to take advantage of mentoring opportunities, roundtable discussions, executive speaker series, luncheons, and contribute to our Innovation Pipeline.

Responsibilities and Day-to-Day View:

  • Analyze and interpret financials and other relevant data; scope includes budget management, cost benefit analysis, financial forecasting, and expense management

  • Partner with various business teams to evaluate how to best leverage analytics and reporting to meet evolving requirements and information needs

  • Drive, develop and maintain numerous project deliverables that support the organization

  • Work on issues of diverse scope including analysis of market trends and financial data to recommend data driven solutions

  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards

  • Increase productivity by identifying and developing automated reporting/forecasting tools

  • Provide input on recommendations to achieve financial objectives

  • Cost evaluation and pricing of new products, services, and contract proposals

  • Conduct market research to support internal financial analysis

Key Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, or specialized related degree

  • Ability to learn analytical and data gathering skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel, etc)

  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills

  • Willingness to relocate to Dallas

Our FDP Interns earn an annualized salary of $48,880. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
