This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

The Lead Workday VNDLY Configurator is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the Workday VNDLY Vendor Management System (VMS) to support contingent workforce operations. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, HR, procurement, and IT to ensure the VNDLY platform is aligned with organizational needs and best practices.

What you'll do

  • Design, configure, test, and implement VNDLY modules and workflows to meet business requirements, including onboarding, offboarding, timesheet management, invoicing, and reporting.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for new functionality, enhancements, and integrations.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving VNDLY-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with end users.

  • Collaborate with Workday and other system owners to ensure seamless integration between VNDLY and downstream systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll, procurement).

  • Develop and execute test plans for new features, configurations, and system updates. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate with stakeholders.

  • Provide end-user support, create training materials, and deliver training sessions to ensure effective system utilization.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, workflows, and system changes.

  • Monitor system performance, solicit feedback, and proactively recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.

  • Ensure VNDLY configurations adhere to internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience configuring and supporting Workday VNDLY or similar Vendor Management Systems.

  • Strong understanding of contingent workforce processes and best practices.

  • Experience with system integrations, preferably involving Workday or other HRIS platforms.

  • Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Project management experience is a plus.

  • Workday certification and/or VNDLY certification preferred.

  • Familiarity with Workday HCM and integration tools (e.g., Workday Studio, EIB).

  • Experience with workflow automation and process optimization.

  • Knowledge of data privacy and compliance requirements.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Our Lead Workday VNDLY Configurator earns between $118,800 - $178,200 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
