Solution Architect Role:

Qualification

  • At least 10 years of work in the definition of requirements and enhancements of business processes
  • Degree in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering & Management - Information Systems
  • Wide knowledge of relevant products and E2E Business processes.
  • Knowledge of telecom industry, relevant technical architecture, and industry standards
  • Experience in leading teams in cross-domain Retail or Telecom systems. Experience working on Amdocs is a plus.
  • Proven experience in defining customer requirements and solutions and project implementation.
  • Lead the solution architecture throughout the project lifecycle (Business development, Presale, Scoping, Design, Development, and Ongoing operations).
  • Lead the solution design and documentation throughout the project lifecycle and be accountable for solution integrity.
  • Having knowledge of ordering and billing domain specifically in Retail consumer business is an advantage.
  • Gain insight into the customer's environment, challenges, and opportunities to propose areas where Amdocs products and solutions can add value.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of industry and technology trends, standards, and competition to identify business opportunities based on domain market dynamics.
  • Share and communicate end-to-end solutions (orally and in writing) to executives, business sponsors, and technical resources clearly and concisely that is in the vernacular of each group.
  • Design a cost-effective solution that maximizes value to the customer and considers constraints such as budget, timelines, local market, and meeting customer requirements.
  • Guide various product experts about the solution.
  • Create and support POC and demos and present solutions.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to product management for delivery of best practices.
  • Azure cloud Engineer knowledge and Certification will be advantageous
  • Experience with Application Servers ( Tomcat, WebLogic, IIS )
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript and bash
  • Experience with SQL Server administration
  • Creative problem-solver and strong systems skills
  • Experience with BI tools such as MicroStrategy Power Bi
  • Knowledge of ETL tools (i.e. Informatica power center, SSAS, Talend) and techniques 
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using either Jenkins, Ansible or an equivalent
  • Advantage - On-Prem to cloud data migration experience.
