Our Product Development group, part of AT&T’s Technology Services (ATS) organization, is responsible for building software-based products, services, and platforms that our customers love and need. Harnessing technology and rebuilding software expertise, the team is inspiring simplicity with projects that deliver revenue and cost savings opportunities.
As a Junior Full-Stack Developer, you will be an integral part of a collaborative engineering team working to build, test, and deliver high-quality software solutions that transform our industry-standard order, delivery, and assurance management systems.
In this role, you will work closely with Product Management, Business Systems, and Operations teams to enhance AT&T’s software platforms by contributing to new features, improvements, and defect resolution throughout the development lifecycle.
You will have the opportunity to learn and grow your technical expertise, develop your problem-solving skills, and gain exposure to modern development tools and practices in a supportive, agile environment.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of applications, building foundational skills in one of: Java (Spring Boot), Python (FastAPI), or Node.js (Nest), while gaining exposure to the other two.
Participate in delivering software solutions across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) under the guidance of senior engineers.
Apply good practices in coding, testing, and collaboration.
Learn to use AI-driven tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLMs, RAGs) and modern development technologies.
Gain experience working with data persistence (SQL and NoSQL databases such as CosmosDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Databricks).
Support implementation of APIs (REST, OpenAPI/Swagger) and event-driven architectures (Kafka, messaging services).
Become familiar with automated testing (Playwright, Cypress), code review, static analysis (Lint, Prettier, Veracode, SonarQube), and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Terraform).
Learn about cloud-native development with Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Participate in agile processes (Agile/Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and team ceremonies.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver assigned tasks.
Hands-on coding and troubleshooting.
Participating in code reviews, technical discussions, and team meetings.
Learning and applying new technologies and best practices.
Asking questions, seeking feedback, and continuously improving.
Foundational knowledge in one of: Java (Spring Boot), Python (FastAPI), or Node.js (Nest), with a willingness to learn the others.
Exposure to SQL and NoSQL databases (CosmosDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Databricks).
Understanding of API basics: REST, Swagger, OpenAPI.
Familiarity or coursework experience with automated testing (Playwright, Cypress).
Awareness of code quality and security tools: Lint, Prettier, Veracode, SonarQube.
Basic understanding or coursework in CI/CD and cloud-native platforms (Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies (Agile/Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
Interest in learning about enterprise platforms: ServiceNow, Salesforce, TM Forum.
Internship or project experience using modern development tools and practices.
Coursework or self-study in AI-driven developer tools, system modernization, or cloud migration.
Experience working in a team setting, either academically or professionally.
Bachelor level degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field of study.
Compensation:
Salaryranges between 2 608EUR - 3 908EUR gross monthly. The actual offer is based on skills, experience and knowledge.
