Our Product Development group, part of AT&T’s Technology Services (ATS) organization, is responsible for building software-based products, services, and platforms that our customers love and need. Job Overview
As a Medior .NETEngineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that support the transformation of our industry-standard order, delivery, and assurance management systems.In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Management, Business Systems, and Operations teams to develop and enhance AT&T’s software platforms, working on new features, enhancements, and defect resolution throughout the development lifecycle.You will contribute to the design and implementation of robust, scalable systems, participate in technical discussions, and support continuous improvement in a collaborative, agile environment.
Core Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain applications with proficiency in .NET (VB.NET)
Deliver technical solutions across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Apply best practices in software engineering, code quality, testing, and DevOps.
Leverage AI-driven tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and stay current with emerging technologies.
Implement data persistence using SQL and NoSQL databases (CosmosDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Databricks).
Use modern testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest), code review, static analysis (Lint, Prettier, Veracode, SonarQube), and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Terraform).
Develop and maintain APIs (REST, OpenAPI/Swagger) and contribute to event-driven architectures (Kafka, messaging services).
Contribute to cloud-native development with Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Participate in agile processes (Agile/Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and team ceremonies.
Work with team members and stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
Day-to-Day
Hands-on coding, troubleshooting, and implementation across the stack.
Participating in code reviews and technical discussions.
Provide Day 2 Support (Tier 1 and 2)
Working to close compliance and other security Mandates
Collaborating in agile ceremonies, team meetings, and cross-functional projects.
Learning from and supporting senior engineers.
Technical Skills
Proficiencyin the .NET ecosystem, esp. VB.NET
Console/Windows Services
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (CosmosDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Databricks).
Hands on Windows Server (Windows Server/IIS/MS SQL)
Deliver on closure server outages/issues.
Understanding of API design: REST, Swagger, OpenAPI.
Experience with automated testing: xUnit, NUnit, MSTest.
Familiarity with code quality and security tools: Lint, Prettier, Veracode, SonarQube.
Experience with CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions, Terraform) and cloud-native platforms (Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies (Agile/Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
Additional Desirable Experience
Understanding of BPM/BPMN and process orchestration
Familiarity with enterprise platforms: ServiceNow, Salesforce, TM Forum
Experience participating in system modernization or cloud migration projects.
Experience working with distributed teams in enterprise environments.
Education
Bachelor level degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field of study.

Salary
Slovakia: Enjoy a competitive base salary starting from 3,130 EUR per month (gross), with the potential for a higher offer based on your skills, experience, and expertise.
Czechia: Enjoy a competitive base salary starting from 91,400 CZK per month (gross), with the potential for a higher offer based on your skills, experience, and expertise.
Location and Environment
These roles are based in Bratislava, Slovakia; Kosice, Slovakia; and Brno, Czechia. They are hybrid-flex positions requiring presence in the office 1-3 times per week, with occasional travel between these locations.
