As a Principal Technology Security, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Endpoint Security Agent Specialist to join our IT Security team. This role is primarily responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining our endpoint security solutions and agents. The ideal candidate will have experience with Forcepoint and Microsoft Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
As an Endpoint Security Agent Specialist, you will work closely with the IT Security and Compliance teams to develop and enforce policies that protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance. This role requires a proactive approach to securing endpoints, the ability to respond to security incidents, and conducting investigations when needed.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Expert level experience with Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention Endpoint (DLPE). Understand and troubleshoot issues where Forcepoint DLPe may interfere with web applications.
Expert level experience with Microsoft Defender for endpoint support. Provide expertise in supporting the OS and client/server applications that run on it.
MacOS Endpoint Support: Offer skilled support for the OS and client/server applications running on MacOS.
Browser Support: Support and troubleshoot issues related to Edge, Chrome, and Firefox browsers, including the various web applications that run within them.
PowerShell Competency: Utilize and create PowerShell scripts to enhance security and operational efficiency.
Configure, deploy, monitor and manage security agents across the organization, on both Windows and MacOS, including Forcepoint DLPe and MS Defender for Endpoint clients.
Monitor and conduct regular audits of endpoint security agent functionality and coverage to ensure device compliance and data protection.
Collaborate with security and IT teams to implement effective data protection controls and a superior user experience.
Provide support for ongoing DLP tuning and improvements based on evolving business needs and threat landscape.
Required Experience:
8-10 years’ relevant experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.
3+ years of hands-on experience managing security agents, preferably with Forcepoint DLPE.
3+ years of experience with endpoint security solutions, specifically Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
Solid understanding of endpoint management, data protection, and compliance requirements in highly regulated industries.
Experience in deployments in large-scale diverse environments.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Windows and MacOS internals, diagnosis and support.
Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, including policy management, device monitoring, and threat response.
Familiarity with other Microsoft security tools such as Microsoft Purview, Defender, and Intune.
Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently manage priorities.
Desired Education:
Bachelor's of Science degree in the field of Computers, Engineering, or Mathematics preferred.
Our Principal Technology Security earns between $128,400 - $215,800 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
