What You’ll Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering best practices and technical excellence.

  • Design, develop, and execute both automated and manual test suites for web, mobile, and API applications.

  • Oversee functional, performance, security, and usability testing to ensure robust software quality.

  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to align testing with business and technical objectives.

  • Analyze and troubleshoot software defects, providing clear, actionable feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Drive the integration of QA processes within CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker.

  • Champion the adoption of automation frameworks and innovative testing tools to boost efficiency.

  • Communicate test results and quality insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of professional QA experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or mentorship role.

  • Hands-on expertise with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Ginger, JIRA, SPOCK).

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Unix scripting.

  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, debugging techniques, and software architecture.

  • Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases and microservices-based applications.

  • Familiarity with Agile development, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Bonus points for ISTQB or CAST certifications and experience in the telecommunications industry.

Our Lead Quality Assurance, earns between $118,800.00-$178,200.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
