JOB TITLE: Lead System Engineering

JOB LOCATION: 3400 W Plano Pkwy, Plano, TX 75075 [Hybrid]

DUTIES: Contribute to the design and implementation of secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, auditable and cost optimized clouds. Design and develop solutions for Azure migrations and transformation tools. Migrate existing platforms and applications to Azure. Automate and maintain cloud-based infrastructure deployments. Build, manage and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes with a focus on scalability, security and availability of all infrastructure and processes. Identify and address infrastructure deficiencies, availability gaps, and performance bottlenecks. Serve as an escalation point for T2-T3 cloud infrastructure support. Assist in determining the technical feasibility of solutions for business requirements. Collaborate with peer organizations, product delivery teams, and support organizations on technical issues and provide guidance. Work with Azure core cloud technologies in a high traffic production setting: Azure DevOps, VMSS, Vnet, Azure Load balancer, Azure Application gateway, Azure Private Link, Cosmos DB, Azure Monitor/Application Insights, AKS, Azure Cache, Event Hub, and Azure Functions. Migrate applications to cloud using native patterns. Build cloud automation/orchestration solutions with technologies: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Chef, Puppet. Design and implement highly available cloud and HybridCloud network solutions. Work with build and CICD technologies: GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, and Nexus. Execute performance tuning in a cloud environment. Architect, implement and manage monitoring solutions for production cloud environments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation working with Azure core cloud technologies in a high traffic production setting: Azure DevOps, VMSS, Vnet, Azure Load balancer, Azure Application gateway, Azure Private Link, Cosmos DB, Azure Monitor/Application Insights, AKS, Azure Cache, Event Hub, Azure Functions; migrating applications to cloud using native patterns; building cloud automation/orchestration solutions with technologies: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Chef, Puppet; designing and implementing highly available cloud and HybridCloud network solutions; working with build and CICD technologies: GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus; executing performance tuning in a cloud environment; and architecting, implementing and managing monitoring solutions for production cloud environments.
