Job Description:
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional with over 10 years of expertise in Azure Cloud administration, DevOps practices, and cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role requires hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management, CI/CD automation, solution architecture, cost optimization, and security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and implement cloud architectures and infrastructure solutions leveraging Azure services for scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
· Administer Azure environments, including resource provisioning, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting.
· Lead DevOps initiatives by establishing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
· Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration management using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
· Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, and implement proactive improvements.
· Ensure compliance with security and governance policies, including identity and access management using Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and network security groups.
· Collaborate with application development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of solutions.
· Drive migration strategies for on-premises workloads to Azure, including assessment, planning, and execution.
· Manage cost optimization, budgeting, and forecasting for Azure resources.
· Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders on cloud best practices and emerging technologies.
· Document architectural decisions, operational procedures, and configurations.
Required Skills and Experience:
· 10+ years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years in Azure cloud administration, DevOps, and architecture.
· Strong knowledge of Azure services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Monitoring, Databases, etc.).
· Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM, Terraform, Bicep).
· Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
· Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
· Solid understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
· Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
· Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or related certifications.
· Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
· Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
· Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Education:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
