Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Lead Software Engineering

JOB LOCATION: 3400 W. Plano Pkwy, Plano, TX 75075

DUTIES: Responsible for the overall delivery process of a software application or service, including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support and maintenance with a focus on automation. Collaborate to gather and review software requirements/user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions. Execute a specific development methodology through application of various programming languages. Create and execute automated test plans/strategies utilizing business requirements and collaborate with engineers and architects, and clients to validate test environments, test data and test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and product associated reporting. Responsible for dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and user acceptance testing. Support applications and solve configuration and environment issues. Support the software deployment process. Lead software migration and upgrade initiative of application on evolving technology stack. Participate in SDLC activities for software components deployed to on-premise and cloud environments. Contribute in building capability for periodic application performance and health monitoring reporting to portfolio leads and other stakeholders. Design, code, test, debug, and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality, and operational needs. Lead the software product development life cycle from inception to production launch and post-production support. Establish critical NFRs at the solution level and participating in the definition of others. Contribute to design and architecture in order to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software. Design modular and scalable web components. Utilize current web and micro-service technologies. Build high quality code following unit testing and test-driven development. Participate in code and document reviews. Build Java based, high volume, and high transaction e-commerce applications. Create web applications using Java and Spring.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation designing modular and scalable web components; utilizing current web and micro-service technologies; building high quality code following unit testing and test-driven development; participating in code and document reviews; building Java based, high volume, and high transaction e-commerce applications; and creating web applications using Java and Spring.

Our Lead Software Engineering earn between $168,000 - $215,800 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
