The Lead Technical Product Managerwill settechnical product vision, translate customer and business needs into clear roadmaps, and partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, UX, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software outcomes. This role willownthe productfrom concept and funding through development, launch, and end-of-life. This role defines product vision and strategy by deeply understanding customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape, and translates that vision into executable roadmaps that drive revenue, margin, and customer value.
WhatYou’llDo
Define and document product requirements:Create clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria thatestablishscope and expectations for the product lifecycle.
Guideprioritization and trade-off decisions:Lead the prioritization of features, manage trade-offs, and drive execution across all stages of product development.
Build business cases andsubmitfunding requests:Develop compelling business cases, secure necessary funding, andmaintaindetailed product roadmaps and documentation.
Act as the voice of the customer:Champion strong usability, reliability, and ensure alignment with businessobjectivesthroughout product design and delivery.
Participate in Agile rituals:Actively engage in PI planning, backlog refinement, and serve as subject matter expert for assigned products or platforms.
Lead and mentor:Operatewith minimal oversight, lead high-impact initiatives, influence senior and executive leadership, and mentor other product managers.
Whatyou’llbring:
7+ years of product management experience delivering software products (platforms, APIs, or complex internal systems preferred)
Strong technical fluency: able to collaborate deeply with Engineers/Architects and make informed trade-offs
Proven ability to own a product domain and drive strategy, roadmap, and execution with minimal oversight
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives across multiple teams or product lines
Expertisewriting high-quality epics/features/user stories and defining measurable outcomes (KPIs/OKRs)
Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leaders and aligning competing priorities
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and backlog management in a fast-paced environment
MS/MA in Computer Science (or similar) preferred; relevant certifications a plus/requiredin some areas
Our Lead Tech Product Mgr, earns between $143,800-$215,800 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
